Because they are the most helpful supervisors on this website. They will help you with your problem no matter what it is. They are also helping with running a program on this website called TIP where they help and mentor and train people to become supervisors. They both go above the Call of Duty so to speak compared to other supervisors to help people. In my opinion other supervisors seem to be unhelpful or absolutely lazy. But Skullcandy88 and Xnicola are the two supervisors that make people want to keep coming back to the website. They deserve a special recognition from the people who run the website because they make the best supervisors, they help more than any other supervisor ever has and they make the site a fun place to keep coming back to. Other boring and unhelpful supervisors need to learn from Skullcandy88 and Xnicola.
I am currently in TIP being mentored by them and I would personally like to say thank you to them for all the effort they do. Whoever owns answers should be paying them because people like Skullcandy88 and Xnicola are rare diamonds these days.

Why is there so much bad advice on Answers.com?
There are many reasons:Many of the questions are poorly asked and it is hard for answerers to understand them.Vandals insert bad answers to show their "humour." Supervisors then have to revert these answers and sometimes ban them.Many questions are answered with best guess answers by well-meaning but under-informed contributors. These may be corrected or removed by supervisors or the "Wiki" process.
Can the answers on WikiAnswers be trusted?
In most of the cases YES. The community has many people who post legitimate answers and we have a bunch of supervisors who ensure that nonsense & junk answers are removed and the answers remain as close to the question as possible. Remember: Wikianswers does not guarantee the correctness or accuracy of the answers. The website works in a best effort manner where the best possible effort is put to give you the right answer but the correctness is not guaranteed.
Does anyone check your answers to verify they are correct?
Yes, we have a lot of dedicated contributors and supervisors that are on the website a lot that love to edit questions, answers (if there is a grammar problem or the answer is incorrect). It does take time to get to all of them though but they all do their best.
Why isn't WikiAnswers giving you the answers you need?
WikiAnswers contributors, supervisors, and all the other 'special' groups strive to do their best in answering questions to the best of their ability. If you are still not satisfied with the answer, contact him or her and ask for a better explanation or of the sort.
Did you know that the answers here are so wrong?
Yes. We are aware that a number of answers on here are wrong. That is why faithful contributors, supervisors, and CA staff work to the best of their abilities to make things the most factual and the least offensive. If you find misinformation, please fix it if you can.

Actually Nothing. The answers posted here are by the members and not by wikianswers. It is on a best effort basis. Though we have supervisors, vandal patrol etc to ensure that unwanted answers are not posted, Wiki does not guarantee the accuracy of these answers. Which is better yahoo answers or answers?
I participated on Yahoo Answers for a number of years and saw multiple issues inherent to the site. Answers on Yahoo are more a matter of popularity, question contributors being able to choose the "best" answer,which often leaves the real best answers buried in nonsense.There seems to be no pressure to remove answers which are actually wrong. Site Admins are largely mechanical with little if any live human oversight. Live human supervisors on WikiAnswers actually investigate complaints. CA's work to mediate disputes and disagreements. Bots are not permitted and are typically ferreted out quickly and blocked from the site. Most importantly, there are thousands of human supervisors ready to help. No, WikiAnswers is far better. Another Perspective: I personally prefer Yahoo Answers as there are fewer trolls there and because of the points.
Are these answers looked at thoroughly?
There are THOUSANDS of questions on WikiAnswers. Those of us who are supervisors do spend some time checking out answers but we do not have time to check them all, along with having to recategorize MANY questions that are put in the wrong categories, and correcting the spelling, grammar, and punctuation of questions. But we do our best.
Is Answers.com valid or nonvalid?
Answers is as valid as the contributors make it, we do our best (Supervisors) to make sure that all content posted on this website is as valid as we can make them, make sure EVERYONE is following the guidelines while answering questions etc., however, there are more members than they are Supervisors, so it's a little battle sort of.
How do you know this is an accurate site?
You know that this is an accurate site because the people who work here work to the best of their ability to research and answer your questions as correctly as they can. There are also supervisors here who look at those answers and fix them if needs be.

Why don't you answer questions right?
The answers on wikianswers are provided by an army of volunteer answerers which are overseen by an army of volunteer supervisors (moderators). Anyone who visits the site is able to ask or answer questions. Due to the volunteering nature of wikianswers, it is inevitable that some questions will receive inappropriate or incorrect answers. Wikianswers' supervisors do their best to catch these and fix them, but with nearly 8 million questions in the database, obviously some will sneak by. If there is some answer in particular which you feel has been inappropriately or incorrectly answered, feel free to fix it yourself... failing that feel free to contact one of wikianswers' friendly supervisors to give it a look see.
