snow tigers are white so they can blend in
For camoflague in the snow.
The term "snow tiger" is used to refer to a couple of different sub-species of tigers. Often it is used to refer to the Bengal tigers that have a gene mutation giving them a white coloration. Sometimes these white Bengal tigers are also called the "snow white tiger". This coloration in the Bengal is very rare, especially in the wild. But perhaps, more frequently, the only tiger that lives in snowy country, the Siberian, is referred to the "snow tiger" or "Siberian Snow tiger". These Siberian tigers are believed to number only around 600 in the wild today."Snow tigers" are of the Siberian tiger species and are estimated at between 500 to 600 in the wild.
The separate species of tigers like different climates. The bengal tiger is located around india and lives in a tropical climate throughout its life. But its larger relative, the siberian tiger, lives in Siberia and lives its life in snow and freezing temperatures!
it depends, white tigers are caused by breeding programs (see wiki for a more detailed description) (and are not albino) and they are extremely rare in the wild. most of them are Bengal tigers (they live in india)and you wont find the min snowy areas very often however, some white tigers are siberian (Or amur)(panthera tigris altaica) tigers, they are found in remote areas of siberia. the amur tiger has lots of snow in its native habitat, so i would say that this is a 'snow' tiger, otherwise you call it a white tiger.
The white Bengal has not been seen for decades in the wild. It was only a rare color phase of the Bengal, not a true species.
I believe so. if you type up 'snow tigers', the pictures are white tigers.

yes. They are no different from other tigers, except that they are all white and black, and have serious eye problems. WHITE TIGERS ARE NOT ALBINO, AND THEY ARE NOT SNOW TIGERS. :)
they are being hunted.
snow leperds ,tigers, amo leperds, white tigers and some birds
The snow white tigers do not have any stripes. The white tiger has dark stripes all over its body like the Siberian tiger. The snow white tigers do not have any stripes whatsoever. Their fur is simply white. They are sometimes also called the ghost tiger.
White tigers are not yet extinct. White tigers are also known as snow tigers. But no, they are not yet extinct, even. The white tigers are merely color variations of the Bengal tiger, extremely rare in the wild. They are not a different species from the Bengal, and white cubs can be born at any time in a litter of normal colored cubs. Also, the "snow" tiger is the Siberian tiger, not white Bengals.
No..White tigers are only a color morph of the Bengal tiger, and snow leopards are a species of leopard, adapted to cold climates high in the Himalayan mountains.
they are called martin.

everything that a normal tiger does... its a genetic mutation and is extremely unhealthy for the tigers
I work with tigers and there is not such a thing as a snow tiger. White tigers are just white Bengals. Tigers do not have any natural enemies, only humans.
