Why are some of the spines of the ORIGINAL Goosebumps book series different?

I am the author of the question above, I wanted to add a little more detail to my question. I have a large portion of the original Goosebumps book series and I noticed that the spines are slightly different on some of the books. Now, these are not part of the "Fear Street" of "Give Yourself Goosebumps" series, these are all part of the original series and some of the spines are different. I have 2 copies of #6 Let's Get Invisible and on one of the copies there is not a number a on the spine. I was just wondering why this happened? I am something of a perfectionist when it comes to my collections, so that means I like to have all the spines matching, not missing numbers and have Goosebumps in a different font on the spine. Thank You!
