I'm not sure one could say they are "more dangerous" than hitting the ground at terminal v but there are increased risk with the reserve parachute. The primary reason that it is more dangerous is the interaction with your primary chute. With a primary chute partially inflated a reserve chute can become entangled in the primary causing both to fail. Any "lift" provided by the partially inflated primary will be lost causing the jumper to fall faster. A partially inflated primary may bear the jumper to the ground alive albeit with injury. One way to prevent this is to release the primary "separate it from your harness" using the disconnects before activating your reserve. This places the jumper back into freefall at a lower altitude. Again a failure of the reserve at this point would prove fatal. Suboptimal attachment points on the reserve create increased shock loads on opening due to increased opening velocity, and potentially at irregular body positions.
Much more dangerous than it was when you had one to spare. You should discuss this issue with your physician, who can advise you based on your specific issues.
they have become more and more fun
Bigger parachutes have more air resistance and drag force than smaller parachutes. This is because the larger surface area of the bigger parachute creates more friction with the air, resulting in increased resistance and drag.
Parachutes are available at the Tailor Shop, if you must re-stock on them. I am not sure how many florins they cost.
Its still parachutes.
Parachutes come in varying sizes.
If you have two parachutes, one big and one small, the biggest one will take more time then the other parachute. This happens because there is more room in the parachute which is causing air to go in side, which is air resistance. The smaller parachute has a lot of air resistance because it is smaller and there is less room for the air to go inside. However, the bigger balloon has little air resistance because it has more room in it for the air to get inside. The air is pushing the balloon up so it will fall slower.
They can be if you pay a little extra.US parachutes are unflameable.
Parachutes have evolved significantly over time in terms of design, materials, and technology. Early parachutes were made of basic materials like silk and canvas, whereas modern parachutes use advanced materials like ripstop nylon and Kevlar for increased durability and performance. Additionally, advancements in aerodynamics and deployment systems have improved the safety and effectiveness of parachutes, making them more reliable for skydivers, military personnel, and astronauts. Overall, the evolution of parachutes has greatly enhanced their capabilities and usability across various applications.
They have parachutes so they could fly
Shiver is the second track on the album Parachutes.
hide or help because it was a very dangerous time
