Spiders are beneficial because of their eating habit's. They control the population of other bugs, like mosquitoes for instance, from growing to large. They help keep parasites carried by mosquitoes away from us humans as well ☻

Spiders help to keep the balance of nature. Without spiders many species of insects would make vast gains in population. Some of these insects compete with us for food. In his book, *Life of the Spider,* John Crompton says that humans would not last long if every spider in the world dropped dead.

A few species of spiders have very potent defense weapons that can hurt any humans that tangle with them. It is rare that spiders will do anything more than defend their own territory, and most common that spiders will retreat from anything larger than themselves. If humans leave spiders alone then they will almost never have any problem with them.
