I know more than a few Masons, and I have read most of John Salza's books. You will receive different answers to your questions depending on how high up in the ranks the Mason is and whether he is pro-Mason, or has discovered the truth.
John Salza was a very high ranking Mason, who is Catholic. Many of the Masons are Protestants or Catholics who don't realize the Church's teaching on these societies. Modern day Masonry allows a newcomer to their "religion" (which is what it actually is) to take their oaths on ANY holy book - The Bible, the Korean, etc. It is only when you get in the upper echelons that you realise that Masonry is, at best, Deistic, and that it has been explicitly forbidden by nearly every pope for hundreds of years, primarily because at its heart it is an anti-Christian faith which asks people to make oaths and such which while Deistic are anti-Christian - although not outwardly. The upper echelons of Freemasonry must be taken on the Koran.
You would need to be very knowledgeable about Christianity to immediately see the warning signs. For anyone seriously interested in this, I would recommend Joh Salza's books, which may be profitably read by any Christian, even though they are written from a Catholic perspective:
Masonry Unmasked: An Insider Reveals the Secrets of the Lodge
Why Catholics Cannot be Masons
They are not. Freemasons are quite free to talk about Jesus. However, to avoid embarrassment for those who may not be Christian, any such mention must not give rise to sectarian controversy.
Slaves are forbidden from being Freemasons, as Freemasons are by definition free. The Masonic order has been around much longer than abolitionism. In the United States Masonry was and is quite popular among African-Americans, but only free ones.
None. Catholics, particularly members of the clergy, are forbidden from joining the Masons.
The Catholic Church has always forbidden Catholics from joining the Masons and that rule has not changed today. Therefore, there are few, if any, Catholics in the Masons and those that are do so in violation of Catholic rulings.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) currently has no official policies regarding Freemasons or Freemasonry. Mormons are allowed to be Freemasons and Freemasons are allowed to be Mormons, but Mormon Freemasons are asked to put their religious obligations ahead of their obligations to Freemasonry. For a short period of time, this was not the case, and Mormons were asked to avoid joining the Freemasons and other fraternal organizations.
No, he is not a member of the Freemasons. However, he seems to have done speaking engagements at halls owned or run by Masons, and may at one time have given a talk to a chapter of the Masons.
Taboo means forbidden, like of religion.EX: Things that were once taboo, we talk about now.It means forbidden

The answer to that is forbidden. No one but GOD and JESUS know.
He cannot it is forbidden by our lord jesus christ.
I wish you luck. Many have tried and nearly all have failed. But someday soon Jesus will deal with Freemasons in His own way.
where in the bible are we told that Jesus owned a Honda but did not talk about it
