No! Of course not! Once you touch a birds nest to take one egg, your smell is all over. This might cause the mother to abandon the nest. Then, when the other eggs hatch, there will be no food source and they will all end up dying.
I too have a fear of dying but I recommend you seeing a psychiatrist. Phobias can be helped.
Dying.
like dying over and over again.

Iceland's Eyjafjallajokull volcano erupted for the second time on April 14, 2010 and caused a thick cloud to settle over Europe and cancel thousands of flights.
Yes.
no birds can fly over
Actually it is not new. It happens all over the world and has been happening probably forever. If you look into it you can find all kinds of reference's to birds and fish dying in large numbers for a variety of reasons. These just happened to come fairly close together in the United States and the media as usual, only gave you part of the story. Pardon me - but I love how the facts are never fully revealed - the above answer is correct, large numbers of birds and fish die all over the world all of the time, however there have only ever been 5 reported cases of more than 1000 birds dying in the one go!! In the last few days, there have been hundreds of thousands of deaths - this, my friends, is definitely out of the ordinary. Most scientists will pass it off to keep the population calm, however, it won't be long before the truth is revealed!
