The length of a planet's year is the time it takes to complete one orbit around the Sun.
The closer a planet is to the Sun the shorter its year.
There are 2 reasons for that:
1) The planet's orbital path is shorter.
2) The nearer a planet is to the Sun, the faster it moves in its orbit.
They have different lenghts because of their age!!! :) love marina & paigeIf you mean why is a year shorter or longer on other planets, a year is generally defined as the length of time that it takes a planet to make one full orbit around the Sun. Each planet moves at a different rate and is a different distance from our sun, therefore the amount of time differs.
no theres not in my opinion because it has to do with the positioning of the sun. If they do it is very different
There are different lenghts of study get an OCN certification. They certification process can be completed within two years.
No, usually the planets are in different directions. Every few years two or three of them line up.
We cannot be SURE of anything concerning other planets until we go there and look for ourselves. However, it _seems likely_ that there is "life" of some form on other planets, whether that's microscopic life in the dirt of Mars or in the oceans of Europa, or on one of the TRILLIONS of other planets. Only 40 years ago, there were debates among astronomers; were planets common, or was it wildly improbable that there were so many different planets orbiting the Sun? Now we know; planets are probably as common as dirt.
It is estimated that the Solar System is 4.6 billion years old including Earth and the other planets.
They all have days and years, but they are all of different lengths to days and years on Earth.
The planets of our solar system were formed at different times, the earth is known to have formed as a planet about 4.6 billion years ago but other planets in the solar system may have formed earlier or later as they were quite conceivably not formed in the same manner as the earth
the sun is bigger than any other planets because millions of years ago meteorites smashed together to make the sun and to any other planets that did not happen
Our nine planets orbit around the Sun. Other planets that are light-years away orbit around their suns (A sun is just a large star with planets). Hope this helped!
1.5 billion light years away.
Different planets have different times to orbit the Sun. Mercury takes 88 days. Uranus takes 84 Earth years.
