The equator is cold because it connects to the two coldest places on Earth, there connected to the North poleand South pole.

The equator is not cold. The equator receives the most direct sunlight. The ocean currents and air circulation by winds redistributes the excess warmth towards the colder poles.

There is no "why" because you have your facts confused. On the average over

some substantial period of time, the climate is coldest approximately at the

Earth's poles, and the climate at the equator is approximately the warmest.

Because of the Earth's tilt towards the sun and the spherical shape of the Earth, the equatorial region receives more direct sunlight than areas further away from it do. The further you go from the equator, the more this is the case. Due to the angle of the sun's rays: the equator gets more and stronger sunshine all year round, than countries further away, so they are not as warm.

They are warm because of how the Earth is tilted on it's axis. The sun hits there the most; therefore, making it warmer.

Areas near the equator receive more direct radiation for the sun - it is nearly overhead. The light from the sun passes through less atmosphere that would absorb part of the sun's energy.

Assuming the weather is the same in a place near the equator and far from the equator, the temperature at the place closer to the equator will generally be warmer.

depends where you are in mars if you are at the polar caps its very cold while by the equator it can reach 21 degrees Celsius

The temperature is usually hotter closer to the equator.

Is salt water cold or hot?

Salt water exists over a wide range of temperatures; there is no required temperature. It is cold at the poles and warmer at the equator. It can freeze when it is cold enough, and you can boil it on the stove.

The equator has no poles.

Kenya is really hot due to its position on the equator. The temperature does drop dramatically at night though.

Describe the temperature of the currents that flow away from the equator and explain why they are this way?

Heating by the sun near the equator makes the water there warm. In the polar regions, the water is cold. Cold water weighs more than warm and as a result, the warm waters of the equator drift toward the poles. The cold wear from the poles then flows toward the equator to replace the warm water that is leaving.

How do winds responsible in increasing temperature of a place?

it is because when cold wind from the poles blow it's temperature gradually decreases whereas, when the hot wind or westerlies from the equator blows temperature of the place gradually rises.

The area around the equator is usually hot What happens to the temperature at the poles?

the temperature at the poles are cold due to albedo which is that light substances reflect heat back into the atmosphere

When the latitude increases how is the temperature?
