his religion is Islam ,we get to know because he went for prayers at the mosque yesterday and every day
Islam is a religion, it doesn't pray. Muslims, however, "the people of Islam" are required to pray five times a day. Apart from these prayers, there are also optional prayers.
There is no holy day of worship in Islam, and it is taught in Islam that every day is the same for everyone. Anyone can seek for Allah's help anytime through prayers. Of course, Allah has mention few days precious (more worthy and vanishes all our sins) like Shab-e-Qadr (which can be any odd days of last 10 days of the month of Ramadan) and Friday is also known as Festival of Believers. But this does not make any day to be holy day of worship. Five prayers a day is compulsary on every Muslim who believe in Islam as peace attained by submitting his will to will of God. And ask for any help or good wish anytime.
It is disliked ..(makrooh) ...Prayers (Salaat) is extremely important and it is a pillar of Islam (islam is based on 5 pillars). Prayer is the first matter muslims will be asked about on Judgment Day. It pleases Allah (God) that we pray on time.
Because Prophet Moses said that 50 prayers a day will not be possible for the Muslim people to comply with so Prophet Mohammad had to renegotiate with the Almighty God and it was reduced to 5 prayers a day
A mid-day prayer is commonly referred to as "Dhuhr" in Islam, which is one of the five daily prayers. It is performed after the sun has passed its zenith and is typically observed in the early afternoon. In other religious traditions, mid-day prayers may have different names and practices, such as "Angelus" in Catholicism.
Every darn day
there isn't a certain number of prayers we need to pray, we pray because God commands it but there is no specific number of prayers we need to do a day
Yes Prophet Abraham is also one the Prophets in Islam and is mentioned in the Holy Quran. Muslims call him Prophet Ibrahim, and they remember him in their daily prayers several time every day.
Salat or Prayer is the second pillar in Islam. There are obligitory prayers as well as sunnah (non obligitory) prayers. The obligitory ones are five prayers during the day and night. The sunnah prayers are unlimited but one must put in mind to avoid (sunnah) prayer in the disliked times.
5 times a day regarding to the obligatory prayers. However, they can pray more than 5 times which is great.
Islam. Since Kaaba is the place where they face five times a day while offering their prayers.
