He was mentioned as a boy that marveled some people, in the bible, and after that his next mentioned was as a grown-up ready for his mission. Since it was not yet his time to preach because he was too young, he was at home preparing, doing carpentry, helping joseph. He was preparing for the mission. Because he will carry the cross. It was not written because his life then was a routine, and only important things are written about him.

In fact, two of the gospels do tell us something about the early years of Jesus, although they also contradict each other, and many scholars dispute the facts presented.

Matthew's Gospel says that Jesus was taken from Bethlehem to Egypt sometime before he was two years old, and that he stayed there until King Herod died. On their return to the home in Bethlehem, Joseph was warned of danger in a dream, so they turned aside and travelled to Nazareth instead. This could well cover the first several years of the life of Jesus.

Luke's Gospel says that the young family travelled from Bethlehem to their home in Nazareth just a few weeks after the birth of Jesus. They took Jesus from Nazareth to Jerusalem each year for the Passover. When he was twelve years old, Jesus was found conversing with the religious leaders in the Temple, and they were amazed at his learning. Although this differs completely from the account in Matthew's Gospel, it also covers the first several years of the life of Jesus.

An explanation at a more technical level is also possible. Scholars say that the New Testament gospels were originally anonymous until they were attributed to the apostles whose names they now bear, later in the second century. Scholars have also demonstrated that the authors of Matthew and Lukerelied on Mark's Gospel for everything they knew about the mission of Jesus, as well as using some additional sayings material from the hypothetical 'Q' document.

The author of Mark chose not to write about the birth and infancy of Jesus or, more probably, knew nothing about these times. If, as we now know, the authors of Matthew and Lukeknew nothing about the mission of Jesus other than what was available to them from Mark, then it is at best surprising that they knew anything at all about the birth and infancy of Jesus so many years earlier. We can not expect them to have known anything about Jesus' later childhood or early adulthood.

For reasons that are not clear there is very little information on Jesus as a child, with the exception of when He was in the temple at age twelve.

Where is the name Muhammad mentioned in the Bible?

A:Muhammad is not mentioned in the Bible, which was written long before the time of Muhammad and its authors could not have known of him. However, leaders of Islam teach that the Bible foreshadows the coming of Muhammad, just as Christian religious leaders teach that the Old Testament foreshadows the coming of Jesus. A:No, Muhammad is never mentioned in the Bible as the last books of the New Testament were written roughly withing 100 years of Jesus. Muhammad didn't found Islam until 610 AD. However Both Jesus and the Virgin Mary, who is considered one of the holiest women of Islam, are mentioned many times in the Koran. Islam teaches that these two were incredibly good people but not divine. In fact, according to Islam, many of the great people of the Christian Bible (Abraham, Jesus, Mary, Ishmael to name a few) were actually Muslims without knowing it, because they submitted to God.
