Not much detail to go on but the first thing that came to my mind was a leaky heater core. A leaky heater core will fog up the windshield big time.
check the heater core. it may be leaking.
if you smell coolant and your windows are fogged possibly it could be the heater core.
Sure! The car windows were fogged up, so I had to quickly demist them before driving.
HEARTER CORE STARTING TO LEAK .PASSENGER SIDE FLOORBOARD UPPER TOP CORNER. LEAK WILL START TO GET CARPET WET AND WINDOWS FOGGED UP.
If it smells sweet, and rather sickening. You may have a leak in your heater core. (In the winter when it is cold, your windows will get all fogged up inside)

Solution; direct your vent towards the windshield and leave some windows open. Careful though; do not direct hot air to the windshield if temperature outside is freezing. the difference in temperature may crack your windshield.
