There are more mice because they can have hundreds of babies a year and cats can have maxium 20, shame though cats are so cute.
There would be fewer cats than mice because a cat would eat more than one mouse. Therefore, it would make sense if there were more mice than cats or there wouldn't be enough mice to feed all the cats.
problably mice :]
Find the factors of 999919 they are 991 and 1009ie 999919= 991* 1009 here it is said that the cat killed more mice than there were cats therefore the no of cats = 991
Rats are smaller than cats.
Cats and mice are more closely related in terms of their predator-prey relationship. However, cats and dogs are more closely related in terms of their shared domestication history as both have been kept as pets by humans for centuries.
no. dogs don't often catch mice. cats have a better hearing so they can hear them from their own holes
Mice and birds do often get eaten by cats.
Most all cats will hunt and consume mice .
Less Mice. More Cats.
Because Cats have Instincts. In the wild cats (such as tigers) have to hunt for their food. Most Cats (that share our homes with us) catch Bugs and mice. Its their Insticts to hunt. even though they are domesticated, they will always have some wildness in them :]]
Snakes, birds of prey, cats...
A good way is to simply get a cat. I know, I know it sounds very cliche. However you'd be surprised how much more effective cats can be than professional mice exterminators. If you are worried about costs you can simply adopt a cat. Cats don't eat very much and are easier to clean up after than dogs. They are even great companions. Although it isn't very humane for the mice, you have to keep in mind wild mice (not pet mice) are pests. Domesticated cats are pets and it would be humane to adopt one.
