If you have a FREE membership, you don't see the ads.
Sign up as a member and you'll have the option of not seeing the ads. Just unclick the ads option on your My Settings page which all members have.
Seriously, even this page is covered with them. The main page, though, sometimes you can't even see the actual article because there are SO MANY ADS.
If you don't like them use an add blocker.

Try turning of "ads" in your browser.
If you use Google Chrome, then go to the chrome web store (chrome.google.com/webstore) and search for 'AdBlock'. AdBlock will block ads on your page and ads lag you most the time.
If you would sign up and login, you can stop those from popping up.
Because you are not logged in. Create a free account and log in. That will disable the ads.
