Vegetation provides a certain degree of shelter from weather conditions. Becomes the habitat of many animals such as bears and smaller animals like birds and squirrels. Vegetation also provides the basis of a food pyramid in an ecosystem as the herbivores are the ones to consume the vegetation, then carnivores after, and the decomposers that return the energy back into the ecosystem. Vegetation helps to maintain the balance in soil by using up the nitrogen and the other nutrients. As all creatures need air to survive, the vegetation uses carbon dioxide in the air to use the carbon and instead releases into the air, oxygen which people and many of the earth inhabitants need to survive. the roots of trees and other plants help keep the soil in place so that when it rains, the water won't wash away all the fertile soil in that part of the land. As people being to cut into the forests, more soil erosion occurs and strips away a whole lot of top soil. These are some reasons why vegetation is so important for an ecosystem.
forest vegetation is important because if there is no vegetation there is:
1. no shade causing what ever body of whatever land (forest, etc.)is not covered up to become dry
2.small animals living throuh out the vegetation will have no shelter and most likely die
AND
3.cause there to be no food for the animals who either eat the vegetation and/or the animals who live in it
Vegetation zones reflect peculiar agro-climatic conditions for each zone
Plants are autotrophic and constute the bottom layer of the food web of an ecosystem; so without them, the ecosystem would starve.
The Evergreen Forest Vegetation are mainly in the Tropics. This temperate forests originated during the period of cooling of world climate.
One is very dry, hot and has little vegetation, while the other is humid, cool, and has lots of vegetation.

Sometimes.Forest soils form under forests. No forest, no forest soils.Mountain soils form on mountains, whether or not forests grow there. Not all mountains are forested. Also, even when forests exist on some mountains, they can also include desert vegetation at low elevations, and/or alpine tundra at high elevations. Soils that form under such vegetation types are not forest soils.
There are actually 7 types in Canada. They are the Tundra, West Coast Forest, Cordilleran Vegetation, Boreal and Taiga forest, Grassland, Mixed forest and Deciduous forest.
The vegetation is the forest.
Tundra and Boreal Forest are the largest vegetation regions in Canada.

Are you referring to a rain forest? A rain forest has a lot of vegetation and receives a lot of rain.

Vegetation, forest...
For good atmosphere the forest trees are important to vegetation.
The vegetation varies:- Tropical Rain forest Cloud Forrest Savanna grasslands are all types of vegetation cover in tropical climates.
The land is naturally covered with dense vegetation.&the timber of the equatorial forest is very valuable for furniture
The forest floor was covered with thick vegetation.
