There is no sound in outer space because space is a vacuum. Sound needs
matter to travel through and vibrate in order for us to hear it. Air vibrates in
our ears to make us hear sound. Since space has no air we wouldn't be able
to hear anything.
We are not able to hear sounds in space as our ears are not sensitive enough. Due to the thin layer of gas atoms in space which make up its omnipresent atmosphere, there aren't enough atoms to strike our eardrums in order to produce a sound.
Sound is propagated as longitudinal waves for which a medium is required. There is not enough substance in outer space for sound waves.
Light travels in vacuum but sound cannot. So, we can see solar flares but can't hear them. (Outer space can be considered to be vacuum)
no you will not be able to hear that sound cause there is a vacuum on the moon as its outer space and sound needs a matter to travel
no trust me there isn't don't make me go in to explaning it
OK in outer space , the first thing is sound does not travel in a vacuum also there is no concussion. In films the explosion , and sound happen at the same time, NOT possible, sound travels slower than the light. So if you see an explosion, the sound would arrive later not at the same time, unless u were stood right beside it.
No. Sound is distributed by the collision of molecules/atoms transferring energy to each other. Space or vacuum, by definition is completely empty, with no molecules to facilitate this transfer, and hence sound cannot propogate through space. The movie 'Alien' famously had the line 'In space, no one can hear you scream' or something along those linesThis answer is perfectly correct, but to those who do not (the very few) understand this text, this answer is, literally: In space or vaccum, sound does not travel because sound is transferred through cells, molecules/atoms, as you say, and there is nothing there, no cells or atoms or molecules, therefore the sound cannot be passed on. -.- that was absolutely pointless, but I'm currently, very, very bored.Sound does not travel through a vacuum.Sound requires a medium to travel thru. Since there is nothing in a vacuum, there are no particles to transmit the sound.
Sound waves are mechanical waves, meaning they need a medium to travel through (solid, liquid, or gas). Space being a vacuum, mechanical waves will not travel so sounds cannot be heard in space.
sound doesn't work a vacuum
because you're in outer space
In a vacum. in a vacum.
No. Sound requires a medium through which it can travel. Since space is near a vacuum, there is no medium for sound.
Light travels in vacuum but sound cannot. So, we can see solar flares but can't hear them. (Outer space can be considered to be vacuum)

There is no sound in space. Sound is a wave of energy passing through matter that we can hear, and in space, there is no matter for the sound to pass through, or at least the gasses that are there aren't close enough together.
No.
No, you can't
In space, nobody can hear you scream, but it doesn't mean there's no sounds up there. Black holes generate sound. There's always one nearby.
