It is recommended by pharmacists to avoid drinking alcohol while taking Adderall. Adderall seems to over ride the effects of the alcohol, the person drinking may not feel that they are getting drunk. So they keep drinking more, and more, and more. But the alcohol is still present in their body and can do damage. Having one or two drinks will not be harmful. Just be careful and don't overdo it.
If i don't feel anything off a 30mg adderall XR what will happen if I just keep taking more?
Adderall XR can take a while to kick in, especially if you have eaten right before or after taking it. I take it for narcolepsy, and I have to time my meals around every dose I take. If you just keep taking more, you will overdose. Talk to your doctor.

So to increase effectiveness of adderall you should take it on an empty stomach and with a little taking baking soda (one teaspoon) or potassium citrate (Tums) a little before taking adderall (5-10 min) to create a pH above 7. Doing this will increase the drugs concentration more rapidly and make the effects last longer.
