You may have the maximum amount of ammunition you character (Artyom) can carry.
There are no ammo pickups, but you can pick up other peoples' guns if they died.
You can get ammunition from one of two sources: ammo crates and corpses. Note: You can only pick up ammo for your primary and secondary weapons, and you can't interchange ammo. Example: If you have the M-4A1, you can't grab ammo from a PLA soldier who had a Type-88 rifle.
Look for weapons with green coloring around it because it means it has ammo so go up to it and press"E" to pick it up.The weapons with red coloring don't waste your time with those guns because they don't have ammo so whats the point about picking up a gun with NO ammo!
Scavenger is a multi-player perk that allow you to pick up extra ammo for your weapons from dead bodies. The ammo appears as small blue bags on the ground near the dead body, just walk over it to pick it up. When you get Scavenger Pro, it has the same effect, but you start with max ammo in all your weapons.
any weapon you pick up will have half the ammo it normally would.
If it is anything like the first (or like any other video game) you can only scavenge for ammo from weapons of the same make laying on the ground.
It was cheap to make and you could carry plenty of ammo. And if you'd used up all the ammo, you could pick up some small rocks instead.
Someone can purchase a Metro Trip planner online, or they can just download many of the free ones provided online as well, or pick one up at the metro station.

If your talking about Multiplayer, then you can't. Sure would be nice if you could, but sadly it can't be done unless that person is carrying the same exact weapon you are and you die so that he can pick up your ammo. You can't give ammo in the campaign mode either, you can sometimes receive the ammo from your companions, but that is only under specific missions. Hope this helped! =)
Maps in Paris are very easy to come by, they are mostly free although some places do charge. The best place to get a map of the Metro would be to pick one up from the Metro Station or the nearest Information Kiosk.
