There are several bad effects and to name few are complete loss of patience,highly irritable nature,lack of exercise,eyesight problems and in advanced stages you start timing your regular chores and end up doing incomplete work thus reducing your efficiency.
Computer games can mess up your computer because they use a lot of video and memory. Extreme gamers have to replace their video cards every 2 months, or else the game will not function right. On top of that then need a high performance computer to handle the games. If you don't have the right video card or memory a game can freeze your computer, or even make it just not work anymore. Games from some websites can also contain viruses and other things you don't really want on your computer. Having to many games on ones computer can lag it, and not cleaning your computer weekly can also effect it's performance. Just maintain your computer, and keep it up-to-date and you should be okay.
Anyone is allowed to play any games on a computer, I mean on a personal computer. On school/college/university computers, playing games is not educational and should not be allowed to access the games.
