why am I not married yet. I have two kids with my boyfriend who Ive been together with for 9.5 years. I am so jelouse of his brothers girlfriend cause they have been together 2.5 years they are planning on getting married next year. On our third year together is when I was hope-ing that he would ask every hiliday that passed I thought he would ask. He never did. I even told him I would leave him if wouldn't do so. He still never asked me,so I left for a month. Then he asked me when I came back but with no ring or anything. So now I find myself upset each time someone gets married close to us and I don't go to their wedding or anything.

When it comes to relationships and meeting The One you should not focus on marriage. Date to have fun. Focus on liking someone and perhaps falling in love. Maybe even once you are in love you'll find that marriage is not that important, the relationship is. So start dating, move out of your ordinary circles, travel, make new friends etc. It's quite scary meeting someone new who is focused on getting married. The divorce rate is huge so take your time.
