There is no blood flow in that area.
Oh dear, its not harmful at all. Its actually normal, every once in a while the position you sleep more will numb the part of your body; such as arms are very common, but legs are too. If you don't want to have that happen, you could try sleep with your back on the bottom. Side sleeping can stop the blood running throughout the part you are flattening.
If you are finding that your legs get so numb that you are unable to stand, you should see a doctor. It is normal to get numb legs from sitting for long periods of time but you should be able to stand up.
You can un-numb your brain by taking a short sleep.
Yes, or neither one. Muscle weakness can help the doctor identify where in the brain the stroke has occurred, but a mid-brain stroke can affect both arms or both legs.
Maybe you've been sleeping in the wrong position. Sleeping with you head on your arm, for example, can cut off the circulation through your arm, so therefor it goes numb. I'm not too familiar with the numb legs though, sorry. It may be an anxiety attack
Usually if you sit on them or you have them in unusaul positions for too long, you may get pins & needles and that causes your legs to go numb!
your hands go numb or goto sleep because the temperature you live in, or probably you put water on your hands too much......................................
