CHECK AT THE AUTO PARTS STORE SEE IF 97 HAS A TEMP. SWITCH AND A TEMP SEN. IF BAD FAN WILL NOT RUN
All Bulbs were replaced. fuses all checked, relay switch new and flasher, Also when the relay switch is in it gets really hot. Any suggestions
Check to see if it is getting power - if so could be bad fan motor - if not check fuses, relay, and temp sensor
not fuses or relay?
All cooling fan relays and fuses are located under the hood of the car in a black box labeled fuses. Unscrew the knob and lift upward to reveal all relays and fuses. Follow the diagram in your owners manual or under the cover to find the one your looking for. (There is one fan relay outside the fuse/relay box)
Thermal relay or fan motor itself may be bad. Apply 12 volts directly to the fan motor. If it runs ok, look at the thermal relay.
Defective flasher relay.
Check your manual it will tell you that these are resetting fuses and have to be checked by a dealer.
Look under the fuses box cover show all the Relays and fuses has number on it.
It could also be the dash light switch. Did you check the fuse panel under the hood?
its probably a bad multi function switch
under the hood on left side under cover marked fuses
Follow the + battery cable should connect to the starter relay (solenoid)
