Keira Knightly and Orlando Bloom did not want to participate in the 4th Pirates movie. They enjoyed making them but thought 3 was enough for them. Also, they wanted way to much money if they were to star in it, and Disney did not see the need for them to be in it seeing as the story had pretty much going as far as it could because they had finally gotten married and you see their kid after the credits in the third film.
