Why aren't you attacking Obama's high gas and food prices?

Nearly every president in the modern age has seen these prices go up, and then come back down. While it is good politics to blame the sitting president (for example, since President Bush had close ties to the oil industry, when oil prices rose, he was criticized by his political opponents), it is often a simplistic view of a more complicated problem. To accurately assess the reason for high food prices, you need to factor in droughts, natural disasters, and international economic problems, all of which affect what we pay. And while the president's policies may also play a role, they are rarely the only reason for the price of a commodity like gas or a loaf of bread. Thus, while you seem to want to blame Mr. Obama for these matters, it is not clear that he alone is the cause.
