What is a Christmas throwback?

Great question! The most popular christmas throwback is probably Silent Night, or Deck the Halls. One of the songs includes piggy pudding, which originated in the depths of the great depression. The pudding refers to the food that the poor jewish citizens ate during this crushing time. Since Jewish people no longer celebrate Christmas, many jews were forced to eat the piggy pudding out of a metal spoon, instead of the traditional source. Sometimes, the wet dog smell is often associated with "piggy pudding." Hope this helped, Gilbert
