There are many possible issues. A/C is a very sensitive system. I suggest you bring it to a place and have them look at it. If the systems was not discharged or recharged right after the expansion valve was replaced, that may be why it is not working correctly

If the compressor is running, either the compressor has an internal fault or the refrigerant has been lost. If the compressor is not running the thermostat or the compressor may have failed. If the compressor is getting hot and switching off at regular intervals, the refrigerant has been lost. In any case a refrigeration engineer visit will be needed to prove the fault.
You can't just replace the ac compressor itself... you have to replace several parts of the system... any auto parts store should tell you that when you buy one especially if you have been back three times.... usually there is stuff in the lines still that gets pulled into the new compressor and voila you're stuck with the same problem you began with.
