Electromagnetic waves, like light, do involve changes in the electric and the magnetic field. These changes propagate at the speed of light - as a wave.

electric energy changes to light & heat energy when light shines.
Yes, photons can be absorbed through the human body.
Heat and light.
The photo-electric effect is the ability of light to cause the movement of electrons, which is called an electric current.

Light has neither mass nor volume. Being composed of photons, light travels as energy waves through a vacuum.
it helped by not having to light a fire.

An electric current is created when a magnet is spun rapidly inside a coil of wire. A turbine (usually powered by water or wind) spins a magnet inside a coil. This action induces an electric current in the coil that can be used to power a light bulb. Hope This Helped!! :D
An electromagnet requires electric power to be a magnet. You turn it off the same way you turn off a light, by turning the switch.
One answer is 'turn off the electric lights" ( They were afraid to touch the light switch.)
Yes. I go camping every summer and use a light in our tent. It is a magnetic device. To better clarify, one side of the magnet is on the back of the light, and there is a separate magnet that attaches to the back of the light. We take the magnet not attached to the light and place it on the outside of the tent at about the same area as we want the light on the inside. Someone on the inside will put the magnet with the light against my magnet and there you have a light in your tent!
An electromagnet is a type of magnet in which the magnetic field is produced by the flow of electric current. The magnetic field disappears when the current ceases. Take a look at this Wikipedia page for more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnet
believe it or not it was not that dark because they used candles Kerosene lanterns put out just as much light as a bright floor lamp. The base of the lamp was filled with kerosene. The wick was lit with a match. It would give light to the entire room. Refrigerators, electric stoves, electric irons, electric pumps, and other electric devices have helped the average person far more than electric light bulbs! It is nice not to go to the various rooms and light kerosene lamps, but having running water, fresh food, and the means of preparing it, help far more than having things a little brighter.
Electricity is the type of energy used to power the light bulb. Hydroelectricity is a term used to express how the electric is produced. It is a process in which a two poled magnet is spun inside a coil of copper wire where the oppositely charged ends of the magnet travel the same path with one end following the other. The force of constant falling water spins turbines which are connected to said magnet with a drive shaft which, in turn, spins the magnet creating hydraulically produced electricity.
