Why can't I click the bushes on Wimpy Wonderland?

Outside Rowley's house, you have to hide behind the bush at the left side of the door, so that you can sneak inside when Mr. Jefferson comes out to check his car (you jump on it and set off the alarm). However, the graphics make this process too slow on many computers. You will have to slide off the car to the left as you land on it, so that you can make it to the bush before he comes out the door. You can try playing this on a faster computer, where it can be remarkably easy to do.
