Also, if one of his closest friends get badly hurt, he will lose his ability to think staight. **Edit from another guy** He can control the nine-tails chakra completely, but he can't control the nine-tails mind when there are more than 4 tails out. If you read the manga, he just learned the complete truth of the nine-tails and how to control it in the manga. He's going to undergo some training to completely control it up to the very last tail now. *Warning* It's the manga so if you only want to watch the anime, don't read it. Many spoilers are in that chapter of the manga if your only an anime watcher.
