Color can change in a mineral when in certain temperatures
Minerals can change color based on small impurities.
Because a lot of minerals have the same color.
Some minerals are easier to identify than others because many have unique properties that make them different. For example gold is a very heavy metal and is extremely "soft" unlike "fools gold" which is brittle and cant be shaped. They are both similar in appearance but extremely different in traits.
Because many minerals can consist of having the same colours. You need to preforms many different tests to specificly figure out what type a mineral you may be looking at. Ex: streak plate, hardness, texture, ect.
you identify good eyes when you can clearly see them for instance when there near the sun you can see the real color/size. you cant identify them when there behind contacts because that is not the real eye color.
Different minerals can have similar colors, making it challenging to distinguish them. The same mineral can come in various colors due to impurities or variations in its chemical composition. Color can be affected by external factors such as weathering or lighting conditions, leading to inconsistencies in identification.
Quartz can't be classified based on color alone because it can occur in a wide range of colors due to impurities in its crystal structure. Therefore, color alone is not a reliable indicator of the specific type of quartz present. Identifying quartz usually involves considering other factors such as its crystal system, hardness, and other physical properties.
Different minerals can share many, but not all, mineral characteristics. Characteristics would include hardness, streak color, crystal shape, reactions to acids, flame tests, density, and others.
Denial
you might not have enough minerals in your body
no you cant
