Did you install Windows XP to the hard drive? New hard drives do not come with an operating system; to boot from it, you have to install one on it.
The GRUB bootloader gets it's menu off of the Ubuntu partition. Since you deleted the Ubuntu partition, it can't read the list or know what to do next. You have two options:1. Reinstall Ubuntu.2. Boot from the Window XP CD, access the Recovery Console, and runfdisk /mbrThis will rewrite the Master Boot Record, and shouldallow you to boot back into Windows.
u simply cant reformat your hard drive while running windows on that drive, what i mean is u cant reformat the hard drive if it is that verry drive that u are running at the momnet insted u need a copy of windows, put the disc in the CD drive and restart your computer. press f2 i think when it boot's to access the boot menu, boot from CD. u can delete the current partition and create a new one, also u can reformat the drive with your file system of choice, most likely ntfs. hope this helps
No your lungs cant be replaced because you ll die before you can.
if you have an operating system disk just put the disk in...it should boot from the CD ROM if not you need to get into your bios and change the boot order so the CD ROM reads before the hard drive and it should install automatically
