because then you will die
The heart muscle cannot take a little rest.they cant take a rest even in a few minutes because if they will rest we will die.
The electrical impulse reaches all the muscle tissue in the ventricles, and the ventricles contract. This electrical conduction pattern occurs approx. every 0.8 seconds.
Rest? Our hearts never rest.
Oxygen plays many roles in the metabolic pathways that support contracture of the heart's cardiac muscle tissue. The heart muscle is the only muscle in the body which is always working. It cannot stop and rest, because the body requires a constant circulation of blood, to supply the tissues of the body with oxygen and nutrients. The brain can only survive for 3 minutes without oxygen. So since the heart must constantly work, it requires a constant supply of oxygenated blood. Without it, the heart would not have the energy it requires to do its work, and would stop.
rest it and have a warm bath
That is the great question! The heart muscle is designed to pump the blood. It takes some time to fill the heart chamber. It can not be done instantly. So the refractive time can be kept long. If it is short the heart may contract frequently with out any out put. Second reason is even more important. The heart can not take a holiday. That means the heart has to work continuously. So it has to take rest after every beat. So that it can work for life long. It's work not stop till you die. Because you die when it takes rest for five minutes.
The heart muscle can adapt to become more efficient to exercise. This allows it to push more blood per pump. It is able to take more stress as it adapts to it. Exercise for the heart also tends to be good for the rest of the body, especially the vascular system and lungs. To adequately work it, other muscles of the body need to do a lot of work and their fitness also increases.
Your heart beats through out your life time. It does not stop for a minute. Nature has created very beautiful mechanism for heart to do so. Your heart take rest for some time during each beat. When your atria contracts the ventricles are taking rest and vise verse. They get rest for some additional time and the miracle continues. Heart muscle has got inherent tendency to beat rhythmically. The sinus node beats faster than other cells and decides the pace.
Arteries and veins. They are Tubes which take blood to and from the rest of the body.
Involuntary, because we don't think about our hearts beating.
Call 911, rest and take nitro or aspirin.
The heat is to make it feel better. The ice is to take down swelling. The standard advice is RICE: rest, ice, compression (like an Ace bandage), elevation (prop it up with some pillows etc, or rest with the injured area above your heart). Heat will relax a muscle spasm, cramps, or pulled muscle but won't help with healing a sprain or tear.
