There are two parts of mind . one is conscious and other is unconscious mind. when we are awake, our conscious mind is aware do reasoning, thinking and other important tasks like saving visuals and important memories in the hard disk of our mind.
when we sleep our conscious mind sleeps and we are not aware of any thing. our mind dont save visuals which we see in dream because our awareness is also lost as our conscious mind is responsible for saving visuals in our memory., we become so much unaware that we when we see dream we dont realize that its dream we thinks its reality. like we feel pain and fear in dreams.
when we wake up and as we realize it was dream our mind cancels all the visuals we see in our dreams.
but there are dreams which are so much strong that we remember one or 3 seconds visuals of our dreams. apart from that we cant recall or remember our dreams
WE FORGET almost all dreams soon after waking up. Our forgetfulness is generally attributed to neurochemical conditions in the brain that occur during REM sleep, a phase of sleep characterized by rapid eye movements and dreaming. ... The dreaming/reverie end involves some of the most creative and “far out” material.
you spend a third of your life asleep, a good chunk of which involves dreaming. But most often, you don't remember any of your dreams. And even on those lucky days when you wake up with a memory of the dream still floating in your mind, there's a good chance that in just a minute the memory will vanish into thin air and back to dreamland.
In waking life, such a case of quickly forgetting recent experiences would surely land you in a doctor's office. With dreams, however, forgetting is normal. Why?
There is a simple answer to this. Like a computer, mind has a RAM and ROM. Hard drive and temporary drive. The dreams are done in the sub conscience and hence when you wake up, it has hardly any recollection.
because we all have peanut brains lol :D
Yes, after dreaming wake up we will forget what ever we dream got,
really natural good or bad these dream you will get when you sleep well.
I guess some dreams are not meant to be remembered.
Dreaming is most closely associated with the sleep state known as Rapid Eye Movement. Medications may suppress REM sleep.
I believe, the main reason we have trouble remembering our dreams, is that dreams are not "real memories". There is little emotion involved, which is the opposite reason, highly emotional real life events are so memorable!
Because we are riding a horse and it's night..mares.
It depends on how you wake up. If you gradually wake slowly then you will be able to remember the dream but if you you are jolted awake then you will forget the dream instantly.
Because your brain is in another world when you sleep and it snaps back into real life when you open your eyes
Not for a long time but yes, you can remember your dream until the morning you woke up. Why? Because when you are dreaming you are in an unconscious state (sleeping).
Because you have many dreams at one night so, you can't remember all our dreams.
This is a great question. But I guess not everyone cannot remember their dreams. Because some of the people remember it once they wake up.
Because the dream world and the real world are two different things. And since the real world is more vivid, its reality overcomes the dream world.
There are several theories as to why we often cannot remember our dreams. One has to do with the hippocampus, which is part of the brain vital for transferring memories from short-term to long-term storage. During sleep, the brain’s regions turn off at different times, and one of the last to turn off is the hippocampus. If the hippocampus is the last to go to sleep, it may also be the last to wake up. According to Thomas Andrillon, a neuroscientist at Monash University, “You could have this window where you wake up with a dream in your short-term memory, but since the hippocampus is not fully awake yet, your brain is not able to keep that memory.”
WE FORGET almost all dreams soon after waking up. Our forgetfulness is generally attributed to neurochemical conditions in the brain that occur during REM sleep, a phase of sleep characterized by rapid eye movements and dreaming.
One of the recent discoveries about marijuana smoking is that it affects memory, not short term memory, but dream memory. People who smoke pot regularly have trouble remembering your dreams.
Freud theorized that we forget our dreams because they contain our repressed thoughts and wishes and so we shouldn't want to remember them anyway. Other research points to the simple reason that other things get in the way. We are forward-thinking by nature, so remembering something when we first wake up is difficult.
I do remember many of my dreams. Some from years ago and always in color.
oh I know this one... sometimes maybe its because your head is full of so much other memories that you just can't remember the things that you actually didn't do... like your dreams. PS: This is also bad because if you can't remember it before you realise what it means, something bad could be heading your way without you actually knowing it.
DUN DUN DUUUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN
no its because you have a dream everyday when you sleep and no one can resist knowing it.
because having dreams cause barin tumor and brain tumor causes ded
because its in your subconscious so it is harder to remember
no well we don't remember them because we have at least 3 dream every night and u might only remember cert ant thing about a dream so there u go
Because when we wake up we are thinking of other things this is for kids.
