First, you go into the temple. then, you just find the last ingredient! But beware of the bats!

Some "Weird looking guys" on Nabooti Island :The Medicine Man - This man is wearing a mask. He is located at the top of the very tall coconut tree. He has a purpose, once you bring him the bone, the carbonated coconut milk and the key ingredient, he will make you a calming potion which he will put in a coconut.The Bat - This man is dressed up in a bat costume. He has his eyes closed. He is located in the temple in the Ancient ruins. He will tell you a little bit about fruit bats and a clue on how to get an ingredient for the calming potion.Professor Hammerhead - This man is wearing a hat, holding a stick, and wearing a backpack. He has a long unruly gray beard. You will see this man after you calm the shark and swim to the island.
Although they are visible at Shark Tooth Island and other locations, the only way to get a "pet bat" would be the "Spook" Followers pack in the Poptropica Store, which includes ghosts, bats, and jack o'lanterns.

no bats don't see. they use sound and when the vibrations of the noise jump off an object then the bats know to avoid it.
Other than Charlie's pet cat on 24 Carrot Island, a stray on Spy Island, and the lost dog Spitsy on Big Nate Island, there are no actual "pets". But you have the mouse (temporarily) and then Merlin the robotic owl on Astro Knights Island. Ratman on Super Power Island has "pet" rats and flies, and there are wild bats on Shark Tooth Island and at the Haunted House.
Bats bite the most people after sharks, but I'm not sure about eating...
Okinawa Japan has large fruit bats on the island.
