On a dry day, water will evaporate from the wet bulb thermometer, cooling it. On a humid day, since moisture is already in the air, less will evaporate, and cool it less.
Humid day
because its the best time for photosythesis. otherwise water from leaf will be evaporated from transpiration AND plant would not photosynthesis. soo.. opening on hot day would be a waist
Because in humid air, there is more water in the air.
It has had a record high of 110 degrees F but that is the exception. Regarding the weather most people say that its not the heat but the humidity. The central and entire eastern part of the state have a humid subtropical climate and it gets pretty brutal in the summer. The humidity sucks, it gets really really humid. I had a couple friends visit from central Georgia and they both said they though the humidity was worse here. This year its been so muggy/humid you couldn't really see the Blue Ridge Mountains. Anything west of the Blue Ridge isn't quite as bad, it does it get hot, but its not as bad. The climate also changes to a Humid Continental in the mountains so.....That is my 2 cents on the weather in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
yes, because you can have a sentence like 'it was a muggy, cold day outside'.
wet-bulb tempature
rainy day is a wounderfull day. that peoele enjoy they are happy because after it the weather is cool and humid

Humid day
It takes about a 1/4 HP to run it on low on a cool day to over 10 HP on a hot and humid day.......
The Coulomb's Law kit is perfect for a dry and windy day, but works poorly on a humid, wet day. Enough viable data cannot be collected on a humid day as humid air discharges static electricity slowly.
The two most humid times of the day are mid-afternoon to evening. This is also the time of highest risk for thunderstorms to develop in humid climates.

The Amazon Basin stretches directly onto the equator and is characterized by hot and wet climate throughout the year. Both day and nights are almost equally hot and humid. the skin feels sticky. it rains almost everyday, that too without much warning. The day temperatures are high with very humidity. At night the temperature goes down but the humidity remains high.
