There is obviously something there that your are harbouring such as maybe being your first love, bad break up, or doing something you regret in which makes you feel this way still today. Sometimes we tend to think back to simpler, more innocent times as we tend to get bogged down but the hustle and bustle of today so it is easy to become nostalgic and reminisce as we don't want to let go of our safe places in the past. Maybe you can't forget about that person because you actually really loved her...true love never dies no matter how much time has passed.
