The ozone hole isn't the problem.
The means for us to develop the energy used to make ozone to fill the hole is the problem. We put too much waste heat, too much water vapor into the atmosphere, and this depletes ozone.
No, the ozone layer does not really have a hole. It is just thinning of the ozone molecules concentration below a certain level.
The ozone layer is just a place in the atmosphere. So a person can fall through an ozone hole, or through the ozone layer itself.
I hope this helps you http://www.theozonehole.com/askthescientist.htm (scroll down a bit)
No, it won't. The ozone hole just allows the UV rays to pass through.
It is thought that the hole in the ozone layer was not present in 1880 as it is a result of human activities releasing chemicals like CFCs into the atmosphere over the 20th century. The hole started to be detected in the late 1970s and has been monitored since then.
Yagnas are not at all useful for ozone repairing. They are just myths.
The ozone hole is not actually a hole in ozone. Its just the thinning of ozone molecules below a certain limit. This phenomenon of ozone depletion is caused by a number of natural as well as man made reasons. Natural factors include Volcanic Eruptions while the man made are the use of CFC's and halons which react with the ozone present in the ozone layer to deplete it.
Ozone is depleted everywhere. Some of the contaminats that deplete ozone in the hole, making it larger, starting sooner, and getting larger / deeper, also deplete ozone everywhere. Ozone has been depleting since the 1700s, not just since the invention of CFCs (after 1920). The ozone hole is just a symptom of overall ozone layer health.
as we know there are 2 holes in the ozone layer, over Asia and another 1 over the north pole - it is all apart of god's plan. so don't go freaking out if there is a hole. god knows what he is doing. everything is for a reason...
The ozone layer is just a layer of gas, so while the ozone might get "stirred up" a bit, it does not form a hole. An ozone hole is not a physical hole; it's only an area in the ozone layer where the ozone levels are very low because of decomposition by chemicals. Consider this: If you move your hand through the air, does it leave a vacuum behind? No. The air around it fills in the space almost instantly. Same thing with the spacecraft going through the ozone layer.
Ozone layer is spread all over not just Australia. I think you mean to say ozone hole.
No real reason, actually. Russia and Canada both have documented issues with the widening northern polar hole, just as Australia does.
