Why can't you just jump of a plane and be at the top of mount Everest?

On top of Mt. Everest, the force of the wind is unbvelievably high. If you jumped out of a plane onto Mt. Everest, you would probably be whipped around and die. Plus, the oxygen level is very low up there too.

The winds force is very variable. It's not always "unbelievably high". However your chances of landing on safe ground would be minimal because the very summit itself is of a very small area, on a ridge with extremely steep slopes off it, plus the likelihood is you'd land on a snow cornice which would break and take you with it down the mountain's flank.
