It means that the guinea pig is scared or it doesn't get enough water when its twitching its kinda like when a dog growls but they wont bite you or they should not well when it wimpers its trying to communicate with you or if you have other guinea pigs...

Guinea pigs naturally breath at a faster rate than humans. If your guinea pig is breathing harder than usual or seems to be in pain while breathing this could be a sign of respiratory issues. Other signs are discharge from the nose and eyes. If these symptoms occur call a vet as soon as possible.
