2. There is no water (found water) on Mars.
3. The air composition is different there.
4. The ground contains none of the nutrients that are necessary to grow plants.
If you were an astronaut, and you brought oxygen, a strong flashlight, water and a seed with some soil you would be able to place it there and make it grow but your own oxygen tank would have run out by then, so technically, you cannot grow plants on Mars.
Because scientists have not found any proof of water on Mars yet and plants need water to survive

plants grow because the sun and water are the part that makes photosynthesis go into action. but they cant grow untill YOU take care of them.
