Why can't you use punctuation on answers com even though the punctuation is vital to the interpretation of the question?

maybe because the cooperation does not allow the punctuation.

Should there be a period after etc?
Yes, but that rule is not always followed in questions on this site because we are not supposed to use punctuation in questions, because the site isn't set up for us to use punctuation in questions. It is set up for us to be able to use punctuation in answers, though.
Why can't you ask a question here with punctuation?
Unfortunately, though we love punctuation here, our software doesn't. The more punctuation we allow in questions, the more glitches we get. So, we limit the amount of punctuation that can go into a question for that reason, and also because the more punctuation we allow, the more different versions of questions we could get with only punctuation differences. It's a hard balance to make. We're still working on being able to allow people to use more punctuation, but it is a long process, and often falls behind bigger priorities for the site.

You there! Some of the answers here may be a bit off but most of them are correct. WikiAnswers disclaimer1 does say that there is no guarantee that answers will be 50% or more correct though. Just ask your question and wait for someone to answer it. And you no by the look of the question !! if your answer is not answered though go to yahoo answers

Can "principle" be used as a plural? I don't know but if not how can one answer a question about a sentence if the question is worded incorrectly? Maybe the word is pluralized without an "s" in some cases. Regardless, I don't know the major principle(s) of a sentence but I'd guess that it has to start with an upper case character & end with a punctuation mark. This probably answers a different question though. What do you want? I'm a friggin woodworker not a wordsmith. (although I do pretty well at Scrabble)

if the person answering the question has the wrong answer. For example, i am just a normal person answering a question. It could be wrong though i only answer what i know.
