Supervisors are chosen either for their knowledge posted in their answers, or for their conduct. I, personally was chosen because of my extensive knowledge of reptiles. I had NO idea people were actually monitoring my contributions - until I received a message asking if I'd like to be a supervisor !

Yes, a supervisor on WikiAnswers can indeed be blocked. If a supervisor breaks the Terms of Use agreement for WikiAnswers, he or she is in danger of being blocked from contributing to the site - just as with any other user. A normal supervisor will not have the rights to block a fellow supervisor. Community Assistants only would have that option.

You can become a supervisor just by doing your best to help out on WikiAnswers in any way you can. If an existing supervisor notices how good a job you are doing, he may recommend to a WikiAnswers administrator that you be made a supervisor.
