For one thing, multicellular organisms can live longer, allowing them to achieve more complexity. Multicellular organisms can also have specialized systems and cells within them (eg red blood cell, white blood cell, brain, etc) that single-celled organisms cannot have.

1How are the modes for reproduction different in unicellular and multicellular organisms?

In unicellular organisms, reproduction occurs by the division of the entire cell. The modes of reproduction in unicellular organisms can be fission, budding, etc. whereas in multicellular organisms, specialised reproductive organs are present. Therefore, they can reproduce by complex reproductive methods such as vegetative propagation, spore formation, etc. In more complex multicellular organisms such as human beings and plants, the mode of reproduction is sexual reproduction.

Why cell can be an organism?

Just Because it's so small does not mean it isn't an organism. == Answer== Some organisms are unicellular, meaning that are composed of only one cell. Life started as unicellular organisms which turned more complex later.

Multicellular organisms are more advanced than unicellular organisms?

No, the majority of organisms on Earth are unicellular. But we multicellular organisms are the more interesting kind. Multicellular organisms rule!

How are simple and complex organisms alike?

That depends on which organism. Generally, an organism is more complicated than an organ, but if the organism is unicellular (has one cell) then it could be more simple. Since one celled organisms don't have individual organs, then the anwer is that organisms are more complicated than organs.

How are unicellular different from multicellular?

Unicellular organisms have only one cell for each organism. Multicellular organisms are organisms with more than one cell for each organism.

Define unicellular and multicellular?

The difference between unicellular and multicellular lies in the number of cells. Unicellular refers to simple organisms with only one cell while multicellular refers to complex organisms with many cells.
