How stupid of a question is this? Look i just answered your question with another question. Because other people might step on your feet or you might stub your toe or when your running in gym you may hurt yourself. Does that answer your question. its for your own safety.

∙ 13y agoNo and the reason is that you could step on something and hurt your foot. Lots of stuff and trash are in hallways, books can fall on your foot, and you have PE so you need shoes. The school will have you call home to get a pair if you do go to school with no shoes. In CA, where I teach, there is even a state education law about keeping shoes on in the classroom/school.
