Venus' atmosphere is almost entirely carbon dioxide, and the rest is pretty much all sulphuric acid. The pressure on the surface is around 90 times that of Earth, and the temperature is well into the range where metals begin to melt.

Anything that wasn't crushed in seconds or dissolved in pools of acid would either be hit by a volcano erupting or simply melt into liquid.
