In the the night time there is no sun, hence no light. During the day a plant will use chloroplasts to make glucose, which is then stored as plant starch. When there is no sun for an extended period of time a plant can get energy from tubers. A tuber is a modified plant structure, under ground, where it can store excess glucose.

(sugar is basically the same as glucose)

This is because chlorophyll in the plants allow them to absorb the suns energy and turn it into sugar through a process called photosynthesis. Animals do not contain chlorophyll within their bodies therefore they are not able to produce these sugars.

Why do plants use its own prepared food?

hmm. If i understood you correct then plants use their own food because they cant photosynthesize at night. Alternatively, they respire just as animals (and humans) do, they take in oxygen and burn (small amounts) sugars they produce during sunlight, and release carbon dioxide and energy required to grow and reproduce.(note that plants dont produce food to use it during sunlight, because when they produce food they already produce ATP energy)

What carbohydrate from plants cant the human digestive system break down into simple sugars?

Sucrose or cane sugar

What do plants produce that animal do not produce?

Plants produce oxygen and sugar through the process of Photosynthesis by using Water, Light, and Carbon Dioxide. Animals on the other hand produce ATP and carbon dioxide through the process of Cellular Respiration by using sugar, water, and oxygen.

If a soda is put into a plant what will happen and why?

it will die because, all of the sugar is soaked to the plants roots and ONLY certain types of plants can absorb soda which will help it grow. However some plants cant absorb soda because it will die.

What makes plants grow faster sugar water or regular water?

I did an experiment with Dwarf sunflowers using tap water, rain water, distilled water, vinegar water, salt water, and sugar water. In this experiment the only 3 waters that did not grow the plants were vinegar, salt, ans sugar waters. I'm not certain these results will be correct every time but it is possible that plants grow better with regular water instead of sugar.
