I found all of the info my opening the Command prompt and typing in "ipconfig /all". I get all of the information and enter it into my Xbox and it can't connect to my network. I then try automatic after my failed manuel attempt. That didn't work either. I am using a wired connection via Netgear XE 102. I think the problem might be that I didn't enter the PPPoE settings, but I don't know how to find that. I read that some ISP's don't require it. I have a Windows XP 2003 Home Edition and am currently using Optimum Online as my ISP. Does optimum require PPPoE settings to connect to Xbox Live???? Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Well first of all, did you buy a Xbox Live membership card? If yes it will on the back of the card.
You cant connect to Xbox Live through your PC. You will need to connect straight into your modem, or either use a Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless adapter to connect through your wireless network.
if you cant connect to xbox live check your wires and make sure you have a correct connection to the internet, make sure you subscription has not run out and if that dosent work or you cant sign in at all then you have most likely been banned from xbox live
you cant, as the updates are done via the ea sports, and you need live to connect to download the updates.
No as long as you have a good Internet connection you can connect to xbox live
no microsoft made the xbox they made it so u cant connect it to mac
