The case is longer.
MUCH LONGER.
For very good reasons.
Even though diameter wise they are compatible the .357 carries much higher pressures. The .38 is based upon black powder numbers. Originally, a round was manufactured that was loaded to .357 magnum power, but in a .38 size casing. The Result: blown up guns.
if think when you put a 357 cartridge in your model 637 the tip of the 357 'might' stick out the end of the cylinder. that tells you NOT to shoot 357 cartridges in a 38 special..........
No such model exists. The .357 Magnum cartridge was not put into production until 1935, and Ruger was not established until 1949.
You need a gunsmith.
The Model 29 is a 44 Magnum. So either this was misstamped or someone put a 357 bbl on a Model 29. Misstamped 50-500 USD Rebarreled 50-350 USD
The 357 mag has more power due to the longer shell casing. It allows for more powder which makes it more powerful..very Simply put
.38 Special, yes. Other .38 cartridges (such as the .38 Long Colt or .38 Super), no.
I just put a Lawman Mk. III on layaway at a local gun shop. It was selling for $650, but the guy gave it to me for $599. It's in great condition, as far as I can tell.
you can put 24" on the magnum without changing or having to cut anything. the tire size is 275/25/24
The safest gear for deer hunting includes bright colored, generally orange clothing. This helps to increase visibility of hunters so others may see more easily. Having a safety feature on a gun is also an option that helps reduce accidental firing of rifles.
It takes about six quarts to fill up a 2005 Dodge Magnum. This is he most you can put in it.
Yes
not really you cant put a password on it but for some of them you can put it in lock which means you cant do anything to it
