you can be a co-owner until you turn 18. when you turn 18 you can put the title in your nameas the primary owner. ... Titles are legal documents. Minors can't sign legal documents.
no you cant sign it its in her name. she can sign it over to you or she can add your name to the title but no u cant sign it because its not in your name.
My suggestion is calling a lawyer.
If you cant spell your name right then you have no business owning or driving a car
You cant your screwed!
you can't get it yet. you cant get it until it says a name.
i cant name all of them but here is two Kelsey by the band metro station and stacie's mom
A non-title holding state is a state where the lien-holder (a.k.a your finance company) holds onto your title until you pay off your loan. So you never see the title until you pay off the vehicle. In a title holding state, you would get to keep the title but your name wouldn't be on it. It would have the name of the lien-holder instead.See also: Definition_of_title_holding_state
No you can't. It doesn't belong to you. Even if you made all the payments on the car, it is not "legally" yours until or unless the title is in your name. But all you have to do is have the one who's name is on the title sign the back of it, relinguishing ownership of the vehicle. Then take it to the DMV and have the title switched over to your name.
Yes. When you finance a car, that's exactly what happens... the financier is the title holder until that vehicle is paid off.
Take the title along with the buyer to your local DMV and have the car transferred over from you to the buyer. Do not sign the title over until you have the money in your hand, and do not let the buyer have the car until you have it transferred out of your name.
My husband died in Nov. and I cant find the title to the car, that has both our names on it, how can I get the car in just my name in case I ever need to sell it, I need the title for the car insurance company too, thanks
You cant sell the vehicle without titling it in your name first unless you are selling it to a salvage yard or for scrap metal. The person buying it wont be able to get a title for it if you dont title it first.
