A 'church' may have been created to keep track of members within that religion, to recruit more followers and track the loyalties of members within the proximal areas of the church. Churches are responsible for obtaining the required funding for the particular religion and to expand its presence and most of all, its influence in that area. Churches are merely a facility used to organize a religion into a familiar condition which the common public can attend without any hesitation of fear, confrontation and such.
